Philip has been writing for performance since

the mid 1990s. He began writing short plays and

sketches for a comedy duo, mainly centred around

Laurel and Hardy. The shot on the right is taken from

Of  Never Take A Woman For Granted written 

by Philip Hilton for BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour. in association with the NHS. A stage play The Strange And Wondrous Garden premiered in Manchester and was a full length costume fantasy drama. Under The Same Sun, a sitcom pilot and Bingo, a play for radio are recent projects. Philip also trained as a newspaper journalist under The Press Gazette's Cleland

Thom. He has written two novels and a book of short stories. He is also a blogger and writer/reporter for HearingLikeMe.com (HLM).
